The Fort Mill High School Winter Percussion Ensemble competes at the regional and national level winning the Winter Guard International World Championships in 2003 and 2005. In addition to competitions, the ensemble also performs in our annual Chamber Concert and in their own “Night of Percussion” concert.
This year the Fort Mill High School Winter Percussion Ensemble is inviting the community to join in and help design their show shirt.
Showcase your artistry by designing the back of our 2014 show shirt!
Submit a design that illustrates the theme of this year’s show and your artwork could be worn by our award winning percussion ensemble this season! Our 2014 indoor percussion show is called “Project Human”. The show is a journey beginning in a world of robotics and uniformity, with all surroundings being drab, gray and black. The journey then progresses to one of artistry and individuality, where all colors come to life.
Three winners will be chosen. The blue ribbon winning design will be worn on the 2014 show shirt and highlighted on our social network page and local publicity. The winner will also receive a show shirt to wear proudly. The red and white ribbon designs will be also be shown on our social network page and in local media. Each ribbon winning artist will also receive a gift card.
Send us your artwork with a contest form and a $10 submission fee per design.
All fees paid will benefit the Percussion Ensemble’s 2014 competition season. Designs may be submitted in digital form or on paper. Use our PayPal link for online submission fee payment:
